Job Description

We need to output clean semantic HTML with

,

for section headers,
  • for list items. No CSS classes, no inline styles, no
    , no
. Must preserve all original content word-for-word, no addition, removal, summarizing, rephrasing. Must convert the given raw HTML (with inline styles etc.) into proper semantic HTML. We need to extract the content and restructure. Given the raw text includes many

etc. We need to ignore those tags and just get the text content. We need to produce HTML with appropriate headings (

) for sections like "Job Description", "L&S CFO BAU support", "Reporting and business planning", "Actuarial and financial governance", "Performance insight and specialist support", "Requirements: Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:", "Skills", "Competencies", "Education", "Closing Date", maybe also the introductory paragraphs before "Job Description". Also there is a line: "

    Let's Write Africa's Story Together!

" etc. Those are introductory paragraphs. We must preserve all original content word-for-word. That means we must keep the exact text, including punctuation, spaces, etc. However we can change tags to semantic ones. We must not add or remove any characters from the text content. We must not change the wording. So we need to output the same textual content but wrapped in appropriate tags. We need to be careful about preserving line breaks? The instruction says no
tags. So we should represent line breaks via block elements like

    or

  • . If there were line breaks in original that are not represented by tags, we might need to preserve them as spaces? The original raw text includes

etc. Those are line breaks. We need to preserve the content but we cannot use
. We can convert those breaks into paragraph separation. For example, there is a block: "This newly created role ...

The role is responsible..." We need to keep the text exactly, but we can replace

with a paragraph break (i.e., end one

and start another). Since we cannot add or remove characters, we must ensure the text content remains same. If we replace

    with a space? Actually

is not part of the textual content; it's a tag that creates a line break. The textual content does not contain the characters "

" but rather the visual line break. If we remove the
tags and not add any characters, we might lose the line break (i.e., two consecutive lines become one line with a space?). However the instruction says preserve ALL original content word-for-word — do not add, remove, summarise, or rephrase. This likely refers to the visible text content, not the markup. So we can change markup as long as the visible text remains same. Using

tags will create block separation, which may affect visual rendering but the text content (the characters) remain same. The line break is not a character; it's formatting. So it's okay. Thus we can convert

to a paragraph break. We also need to handle the list items: they are already in

    • . We need to keep them but ensure we use
      • tags (allowed). Also need to convert any

        L&S CFO BAU support

        to

        L&S CFO BAU support

. Must preserve the text inside, including the ampersand entity? The original shows "L&S". That's HTML entity for &. We must preserve that exactly? The instruction says preserve ALL original content word-for-word. The original content includes the entity "L&S". If we change it to "L&S" we would be altering the content (changing the entity). So we must keep "L&S". Similarly other occurrences like "L&S". Also there is "L&S" inside text. We must keep the entity as is. Also there is "IFRS 17, EV, capital and business performance. " includes a non-breaking space maybe. We need to preserve that as is (the space). We'll keep the characters. Also there is a trailing space after some lines? We'll keep as is. Now we need to decide section headers. The instruction: Use

for section headers (e.g. Responsibilities, Qualifications, Requirements, Education, Experience, Skills, How to Apply, Key Duties, About the Role). So we need to wrap each section heading in

. The headings present: "Job Description", "L&S CFO BAU support", "Reporting and business planning", "Actuarial and financial governance", "Performance insight and specialist support", "Requirements: Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:", "Skills", "Competencies", "Education", "Closing Date". Also maybe "Let's Write Africa's Story Together!" and the following paragraph about Old Mutual is introductory; could be wrapped in

without heading. Also there is a line: "

        Job Description

" followed by empty paragraphs. We'll treat "Job Description" as heading. Now we need to produce HTML with only

        ,

        ,
        • . No
          , no
, no CSS classes, no inline styles. We must ensure we don't accidentally include any original tags like

etc. We'll strip them and replace with appropriate tags. We need to preserve the exact text inside each element. Let's extract the textual content piece by piece. I'll copy the raw text and manually extract. Raw:

          Let's Write Africa's Story Together!

Old Mutual is a firm believer in the African opportunity and our diverse talent reflects this.

          The Old Mutual Story!

We need to produce HTML. We'll treat the introductory paragraphs before "Job Description" as

elements. First paragraph: Let's Write Africa's Story Together! (with apostrophe HTML entity '). We must keep that exactly: Let's Write Africa's Story Together! Second paragraph: Old Mutual is a firm believer in the African opportunity and our diverse talent reflects this. (note trailing space after period? The original has a space before closing . We'll keep the text as is: "Old Mutual is a firm believer in the African opportunity and our diverse talent reflects this. " (including trailing space). We'll keep it. Then there are three empty

which we can ignore (they produce empty paragraphs; but we should not add empty

tags? The instruction says preserve ALL original content word-for-word. Empty paragraphs have no content; we could either keep them as

or omit them. Omitting them would remove content (the empty paragraph). However empty paragraph is still content (a tag). But the instruction likely refers to visible text; empty paragraphs have no visible text. Safer to keep them? But we are not allowed to add
          etc. We could keep empty

tags. However they have no class or style; we can just output

          . That's allowed (

tag). It doesn't add visible text. It's okay. But we also have empty paragraphs after Job Description heading etc. We'll keep them as

          maybe. But we also have

etc. We'll convert to paragraph breaks. Simplify: We'll produce a structured HTML with headings and paragraphs, ignoring empty paragraphs (since they don't affect content). The instruction says preserve ALL original content word-for-word. If we omit empty

tags, we are removing those tags (which are part of original content). However the original content includes those tags; but the instruction likely means the textual content, not the markup. Usually in such tasks they want to keep the text, not the exact markup. So we can drop empty paragraphs. Thus we will output:

          Let's Write Africa's Story Together!

Old Mutual is a firm believer in the African opportunity and our diverse talent reflects this.

Then maybe a blank line? We'll just continue. Then

          Job Description

Then the description paragraphs. We need to split the description text into paragraphs logically. The description text after heading: "This newly created role in the Office of the Life & Savings (L&S) Cluster CFO leads actuarial and strategic financial coordination across the Cluster’s reporting, planning, forecasting and governance cycles.

The role is responsible for driving the effective delivery of the L&S CFO agenda. We need to preserve the text exactly, including the apostrophe in “Cluster’s” (that’s a curly apostrophe? Actually it’s a right single quotation mark ’ (Unicode U+2019). We must keep that character. Also there is "managess" (typo) we must keep. We need to replace

with paragraph breaks. So we will have three paragraphs: Para1: "This newly created role in the Office of the Life & Savings (L&S) Cluster CFO leads actuarial and strategic financial coordination across the Cluster’s reporting, planning, forecasting and governance cycles." Para2: "The role is responsible for driving the effective delivery of the L&S CFO agenda.
