Cross-Platform App Developer (React Native | AI Integration | Backend with PostgreSQL)

About the Role

We’re looking for a self-motivated and versatile cross-platform app developer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing React Native and iOS applications, along with strong backend development skills using PostgreSQL. You’ll be working on innovative projects that integrate AI modules for document processing, voice recognition, and text-to-speech conversion—helping shape the next generation of intelligent applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native (Android & iOS).
• Develop and manage iOS native components where required for performance or system-level integration.
• Build and optimize backend services and REST APIs with PostgreSQL and relevant server-side frameworks (.NET, Python, or Java).
• Integrate AI-based modules for document processing, OCR, and data extraction.
• Implement voice recognition and text-to-speech functionalities using modern AI APIs and cloud-based tools.
• Ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing backend architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional remote teams for design, testing, and deployment.
• Maintain clean, well-documented, and efficient code using version control (Git).
• Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, frameworks, and technologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in React Native development for both Android and iOS platforms.
• Eagerness to learn native development for both Android (Kotlin) and IOS (Swift/Objective-C) is highly valued.
• Proficiency in .NET, JavaScript, Java, and Python.
• Strong understanding of backend development, PostgreSQL database design, and API integration.
• Familiarity with AI/ML integration tools for automation, document, or speech processing.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Self-driven, with strong communication, collaboration, and learning capabilities.
• Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a remote working environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior freelance or project-based development experience in app or AI integration.
• Experience with Azure Cognitive Services, Google Cloud AI, or OpenAI APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or containerized deployments.
• Understanding of automation workflows and intelligent document processing (IDP) systems.
