If you’re looking for a role working alongside our dynamic Omnichannel buying team in<br>delivering exciting new products to market, then this is for you!</p><p><br>What your role looks like<br>Taking direction from our Merchandising Manager, you’ll spend the bulk of your time sourcing<br>the relevant information from our suppliers to list a new product which meets Yuppiechef's high<br>standards.<br>You will work between our category buyers &amp; Web teams by facilitating our in-depth Product<br>Listing process, by interacting with Suppliers in sourcing all relevant info to allow a product to<br>‘go live’ on our sales platforms. You will also assist the buyers with admin-related tasks to<br>improve team capacity.<br>This is a role that requires a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Obsessing about obtaining the<br>perfect info will be key in making sure you are successful in this role.<br>Who you’ll be working with<br>You will be paired with a category buyer allowing you to gain key product knowledge and<br>support a buyer in building ranges. We are a high-pressure team working towards strict<br>deadlines but with a love for cool products and having fun while doing what we do best! We are<br>a trendy bunch with an eye out for the next ‘cool’ thing!<br>We love our pets, coffee, series and cake (basically any and all baked goods).</p><p><br>Who you are<br>You should have experience and a proven track record in an admin based supporting role. You<br>have a passion for retail and a keen interest in e-commerce. You are a systems nerd looking to<br>always improve the way we do things! You have high attention to detail and obsess about the<br>little things! Anything less than 100% does not compute for you!</p><p><br>You are a good communicator (both in-person and asynchronously over email or chat), work<br>well both autonomously and collaboratively, and enjoy honing your technical skills. People would<br>also describe you as:<br>● Accurate<br>● Efficient<br>● Professional</p><p>● Observant<br>● Disciplined<br>● Calm and confident<br>● Positive and enthusiastic<br>● Passionate about all things Kitchen &amp; Homeware related</p><p>What experience and skills you need for the role</p><p><br>Experience:<br>● You have experience working in an admin role, supporting a merchandising team<br>● Extremely organised and able to multitask (you will be managing over 400 listings at<br>times)<br>● Experience in supplier relationships<br>● Exposure to working with branded suppliers<br>● You have worked in FMCG, appliances, branded goods or food division of a large retailer<br>● At least one year working in an eCommerce retail environment or in a similar role</p>
