Job Title: Junior Financial Analyst Organization: Thyme Management Consulting (TMC) Location: Lekki Phase 1 Job Grade / Level: Entry-Level / Analyst Core Mandate Support financial analysis, research, data preparation, and reporting activities across consulting engagements while developing technical competence and professional expertise. Job Objective To assist in delivering accurate financial analysis, models, and reports that support client advisory services while building foundational skills in financial consulting. Roles & Responsibilities Financial Analysis Support Assist in preparing financial models, forecasts, and budgets. Conduct financial statement analysis and variance analysis. Gather, clean, and analyze financial and market data. Support feasibility studies and valuation exercises. Research & Data Collection Conduct industry, market, and competitor research. Compile financial data from internal and external sources. Assist in preparing benchmarking analyses Reporting & Documentation Prepare client-ready presentations and financial reports. Ensure accuracy of spreadsheets and supporting schedules. Maintain organized documentation of project files. Administrative & Team Support Provide analytical support to senior team members. Participate in internal training and development programs. Assist in proposal preparation and documentation. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Accuracy of data and analysis Timeliness of deliverables Quality of financial documents prepared Responsiveness to team and client needs Working Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Attributes Basic understanding of financial statements, financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting Foundational corporate finance principles Strong numerical and analytical ability Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Attention to detail and accuracy Good written and verbal communication skills Research and data gathering capability Eagerness to learn and grow
