Mechanical Technician III at Nautilus Nigeria Engineering and Construction Limited

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plans, updates, and oversees all activities within his or her area of responsibility.
• Installs and maintains instrument equipment in compliance with all rules and practices.
• Tests and repairs instrumentation systems utilized by production equipment to ensure adherence to established standards.
• Operates cranes and performs rigging activities to assist maintenance, production, construction, and safety crews as required.
• Loads and unloads material and equipment in accordance with established procedures.
• Support field electrical maintenance work and electrical isolation (Lock out Tag out: Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO)) for lighting, air condition and motor maintenance.
• Interpret and Integrate geological data and provide well-site geological support for drilling wells in oil fields.
• Works to assure the safe and efficient turnaround of gas carriers and condensate tankers.
• Evaluate and comment on discipline engineering work performed both internally and by Contractors and sub-contractors to ensure that work is being executed in accordance with Company standards.
• Prepare detailed engineering designs and coordinate all phases of planning and completing a well.
• Operate equipment and wells by applying operating and safety procedures and guidelines to meet daily operational plan, reduce equipment failure and efficient resources administration.
• Responsible for the logistics related to processing of customer orders.
• Support/assist the lab supervisors/chemists by performing routine and non-routine laboratory analysis/wet chemistry on product and in-process samples, to support plant operations.
• Guides financial decisions and protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies, controls and procedures.
• Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting regular audits and reviews.
