Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer - MAAIF-EUDR Programme

Reports to: Programme Manager
Duration: 12 months
Job Summary:
The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring the MAAIF-EUDR Programme. The officer will work closely with the Programme Manager to ensure that the programme is implemented in accordance with the agreed-upon objectives, timelines, and budget.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a monitoring and evaluation framework for the MAAIF-EUDR Programme
- Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation activities to assess programme progress and identify areas for improvement
- Analyze data and prepare reports to inform programme decision-making
- Collaborate with programme staff to ensure that programme activities are implemented in accordance with the agreed-upon objectives, timelines, and budget
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government officials, programme partners, and other relevant stakeholders
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Programme Manager
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as monitoring and evaluation, public health, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, programme management, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation tools and techniques
- Ability to travel within Uganda as needed
