About the Function:

Supply Chain & Manufacturing is where our brands are made, moved and delivered to the world.

With over half of our people working across more than 100 sites, this is a sophisticated, large-scale operation that brings together production, logistics, engineering and supplier partnerships.

It’s fast-paced and hands-on, with teams working together to ensure quality, efficiency and sustainability at every stage. From sourcing ingredients to getting products into customers’ hands, you’ll play a role in delivering the brands people know and love.

About the role

Role ensures that the beer produced in a brewery is of exceptional quality. Works with the primary goals of improving brewery operations, improving product quality, improving customer satisfaction levels, reducing costs (e.g. reworks) and helps to ensure that food safety standards are adhered to and maintained

The company makes both beer and spirits and operates 24 hours. To beat competition, an effective Quality Control/Assurance system is very critical. The process involves monitoring process inputs (Local raw materials) process control and finished product. To remain at the top in the market and satisfy the expectations and needs of the consumer at competitive cost, requires highly skilled and trained quality analysts

Financial Accountability (Budget/Revenue)

This role works with a shared budget in the quality department of UGX 2 Billion per year and takes care of Lab equipment that are essential in beer analysis worth 942,406 USD

Leadership Responsibilities

This position works within the Quality Team and has responsibility of influencing shift managers and operators respond timely to decisions that guarantee quality of the products
