Job Summary
Barrick is seeking a Senior Specialist Talent Acquisition Management to join our team in Zambia. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of talent acquisition strategies to attract, select, and hire top talent for the organization. The role will also involve providing guidance and support to hiring managers and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless recruitment process.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies to meet business needs
- Lead the recruitment process for senior-level positions
- Provide guidance and support to hiring managers and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive recruitment process
- Analyze recruitment metrics and provide insights to improve the recruitment process
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in talent acquisition or a related field
- Proven track record of success in talent acquisition
- Strong knowledge of recruitment principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- SHRM-CP or HRCI certification
- Experience working in a mining or extractive industry
- Experience working in a multicultural environment
- Fluency in English and/or local language
