UNICEF is seeking an International UN Volunteer to support the Social and Behaviour Change (SBC) program in Cameroon.

Job Description and Responsibilities
The International UN Volunteer will support the design, planning, and implementation of Social and Community Listening (SCL) initiatives that are backed by social and behavioural evidence and strong engagement and participation mechanisms in both development and humanitarian contexts.
- Provide technical support in development, implementation, and monitoring of Social and Community Listening strategies in line with global standards and UNICEF priorities and approaches.
- Support the SBC Section in conducting the realization of the national Social and Community Listening capacity assessment.
- Develop and/or apply tools, guidelines, and training materials to build national Social and Community Listening capacity among Country Office (CO) staff, implementing partners, and other relevant government and non-government partners.
- Support in identifying SBC behavioural objectives and outcomes aligned to the menu of SBC results and Cameroon SBC strategy.
- Facilitate review and revision of the SBC results framework under the current SBC intervention programmes sections and partners.
- Support development of the monitoring tools for behaviour change interventions and orient these tools to Monitoring focal points of programmes and partners.
- Identify potential mechanisms and effective systems for collection of regular SBC data for reporting.
- Support evidence generation and documentation for SBC programming.
- Deliver Knowledge Management (KM) strategy for SBC.
- Provide editorial support for SBC materials.
- Collaborate with SBC team members to conceptualize and design visually engaging and impactful communication products.
Requirements/Qualifications
The international UNV will have the proven skills to support Cameroon Social and community listening strategy, developing innovative solutions to capture people and community concerns on programmes for children.
- Passionate about the latest technologies, techniques and industry best practices including AI.
- Ability to apply them to reach a broad range of audiences for a better response to people questions and preoccupations on social media and in community.
