About Organisation:
Bennett Accounting Uganda is a fast-growing, client-focused accounting and tax advisory firm dedicated to helping SMEs, startups, and corporates achieve tax compliance and financial clarity. We are currently expanding our team and seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Accountant to lead our Tax Department.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare & File VAT, PAYE, WHT returns
Comfortably Issue EFRIS invoice s & Receipts
Perform tax reconciliations & management Accounts
Review client ledgers and identify tax risk Exposures
Assist with URA audits & tax issues
Attend field office hours
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Minimum degree in Accounting & Finance CTA / TPP/PODITRA
Proven experience (2-3 years) in tax practice & compliance (preferred)
Proficient with URA portal & EFRIS
Strong financial analysis skills
