JOB PURPOSE
The mission of eProcess International is to establish and deliver strategic guidelines for Technology Management across the Ecobank Affiliates. Additionally, the organization serves as a leading provider of Technology and Telecommunication services to Affiliate subsidiaries.
The individual overseeing this Unit is tasked with ensuring the effective management of all financial and fiscal operations for eProcess International SA and its affiliates, eProcess International Ghana Limited and Nigeria Limited. This role also involves supporting the coordination of administrative functions, business planning, accounting, and budgeting activities to drive the company’s success.
JOB CONTEXT
Lead the Financial and Regulatory Reporting Unit in providing accurate, timely, and insightful financial, regulatory, and statutory reporting to support effective decision-making, ensure full compliance with applicable reporting requirements, and strengthen organizational transparency and accountability. The role is responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial information, coordinating regulatory submissions, and delivering high-quality financial reporting that supports eProcess' strategic objectives while enhancing stakeholder confidence and credibility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial and Operational Management
- Lead the preparation and delivery of accurate, timely, and compliant financial, regulatory, statutory, and management reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
- Oversee the integrity of the financial reporting framework, ensuring robust accounting processes, controls, and reporting systems are maintained to support reliable financial information.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, statutory, tax, and financial reporting obligations across the organization and coordinate the timely submission of required returns and disclosures.
- Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external audits, regulatory reviews, and financial inspections, ensuring effective coordination and timely resolution of findings and recommendations.
- Strengthen the organization's internal control environment by monitoring compliance with established policies, controls, and governance requirements and driving remediation where required.
- Oversee fixed asset accounting and reporting, ensuring the completeness, accuracy, and proper stewardship of the organization's asset base.
- Monitor and drive the resolution of audit, risk, compliance, and control issues, ensuring remediation actions are implemented and tracked to closure.
- Provide financial reporting insights and analysis to support executive decision-making, strategic planning, and performance management.
- Support treasury and liquidity management activities through cash flow reporting, forecasting, and analysis, helping to optimize the organization's financial position.
- Manage the organization's tax reporting and compliance obligations, ensuring adherence to applicable tax laws and accounting standards while supporting effective tax risk management.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with regulators, auditors, tax authorities, and other key stakeholders to ensure transparency, compliance, and effective engagement.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Financial and Regulatory Reporting team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, continuous improvement, and high-quality service delivery
- Lead the preparation, review, and timely submission of all financial, management, regulatory, statutory, tax, and Board reporting
JOB PROFILE
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance-related roles.
- In-depth knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
- Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Accounting Standards (IAS).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Professional international accounting certification (e.g., ACCA,) or equivalent qualification.
