Job Summary:
The University Bursar is responsible for the overall management of the university's financial resources. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing the university's budget, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported, and providing financial guidance to the university's management.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage the university's budget
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Provide financial guidance to the university's management
- Manage financial transactions and ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
- Supervise and manage the university's financial staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- At least 5 years of experience in financial management
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and policies
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Professional certification in accounting (e.g. CPA, ACCA)
