Job Description
for intro paragraphs and general text,
for section headers (Responsibilities, Qualifications, Requirements, Education, Experience, Skills, How to Apply, Key Duties, About the Role). Use - for list items (duties, requirements, qualifications, skills). No CSS classes, no inline styles, no , no
. Preserve ALL original content word-for-word — do not add, remove, summarise, or rephrase. If text has no clear sections, just wrap paragraphs in tags.
We have a job description with sections: Position, Contract, Location, Closing Date, then DUTIES with subsections A-F each with bullet points (starting with ·). Also there is an introductory paragraph: "The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture seeks suitable Nigerian nationals for the position below at the Institute’s Headquarters in Ibadan." Then empty
. Then position line etc.
We need to convert to semantic HTML: Use for intro paragraphs and general text. Use
for section headers like "DUTIES". Also subheaders like "A. Digital Strategy and Leadership" maybe treat as ? The instruction says use for section headers (e.g. Responsibilities, Qualifications, Requirements, Education, Experience, Skills, How to Apply, Key Duties, About the Role). So only those specific headers? But we can also treat other headings as if they are section headers. Probably we should treat "DUTIES" as . Subsection headers like "A. Digital Strategy and Leadership" maybe also or maybe just bold? But we must preserve original content word-for-word, cannot change text. We can wrap them in tags but that would change the text? Actually wrapping does not change text, just adds tags. That's allowed. The content remains same. So we can convert each heading line to heading.
But we must not add any extra text. So we keep the exact same strings, just wrap them.
We also need to convert bullet points (starting with ·) into - . The bullet symbol is a middle dot? It's "· ". We need to preserve the bullet symbol? The instruction says preserve ALL original content word-for-word. So we must keep the bullet symbol and spaces? If we wrap in
- , we keep the bullet symbol inside the
- . That's okay.
We also need to handle other paragraphs like position, contract, location, closing date. Those are currently in
with . We should keep them as but maybe we should not keep the tags? The instruction says preserve ALL original content word-for-word. That includes the tags? The original text includes HTML tags (). We must preserve them exactly. So we cannot remove . However the output should be semantic HTML; we can keep inside . That's fine.
But we also need to use
for introductory paragraphs and general text. So we keep the existing
tags but maybe we need to ensure they are proper. The input already has
tags. We can just output the same but ensure we replace with (keep). Also we need to convert the bullet lists to - . Also we need to convert headings to
. Also we need to remove empty
maybe? The instruction says preserve ALL original content word-for-word. If we remove empty , we are removing content (an empty paragraph). That might be considered removal. But maybe we can keep it; it's harmless. However empty is just a paragraph with no content; preserving it is fine. We'll keep it.
We must not add any explanation. Just output HTML.

Let's process the input:
