  • Medical Supply Coordination: Manage LE medical supplies, monitor expiry dates, and ensure field teams are adequately equipped for emergencies.
  • Technology & Device Management: Program, configure, and troubleshoot field devices, maintain a software version register, and support the adoption of new technologies.
  • BFR Selection & Training Support: Provide logistical and administrative support for Basic Field Ranger (BFR) pre-selection and selection processes, including materials and personnel coordination.
  • Field Capacity Building: Train field officers on data collection tools and guidelines to promote accuracy and accountability in reporting.
  • Operational Debriefing: Plan and facilitate structured debrief sessions after operations to capture successes, challenges, and lessons learned.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree, preferably in a field related to environmental or wildlife management.
  • Technical Experience: Proven experience in biodiversity auditing, data entry, and using technical software such as ArcGIS or SPSS. Field Skills: Demonstrated experience working in remote and harsh environments, including wildlife research or radio tracking.
  • Operations: Experience in project management methodology and supervising support groups.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Technical Proficiency: Experienced in using GPS, GIS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Logistical Planning: Strong organizational and logistical planning skills with high attention to detail.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to provide training and ongoing support to field teams.
  • Adaptability: Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to learn and adapt quickly to new challenges.
