We are seeking two professional and highly motivated Receptionists to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for managing front desk operations, ensuring a smooth guest experience, and upholding the hotel’s service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and check-in/check-out guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Handle reservations, inquiries, and guest requests efficiently
- Manage phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries
- Maintain accurate records of bookings and guest information
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Process payments and maintain proper billing records
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times
Requirements
- Minimum of 3+ years experience in hospitality (hotel experience preferred)
- Relevant Zambian hospitality certification and/or formal education in hospitality
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills; confident and outspoken
- Quick learner with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
